I think you can, because you can smoke salmon on a grill when its wraped in aluminum Foil. Aluminum can go on a grill, :)

if you’re putting it on the grill the best thing to use would be aluminum.

Why don’t you just put it in the microwave and bring it outside. It seems like the easiest thing to do.

The heavier pan is a better idea. Make sure to spray it really well first so that your m&c doesn’t stick and it should be okay. I have done it before with beans and other “casserole” types of dishes. It worked just fine. Aluminum is sometimes too light to stand up to the weight and heat. Good luck. Nana

An aluminum pan would be fine. The trouble may be that unless you’re stirring it constantly it will burn on the bottom. To remedy that (if you’re using a charcoal grill) heat the mac and cheese using indirect heat. In other words build the fire on one side of the grill and put the mac and cheese on the other. Then you can cook the meat and the mac and cheese at the same time.

That is seriously not a good idea. No matter what kind of pan you use, the bottom will burn the mac and cheese. If you absolutley must, put it in an aluminum foil pan sprayed with PAM. But i can almost guarantee the results wont be as yummy as you might have hoped.

i would go with the baking dish, and stir the macaroni every 3 to 5 min to avoid burning.

Because the pan is so thin and the grill is very hot, just on the bottom, I would for see it burning easily. Have Fun!

I think the disposable type pan would work fine. Just be sure to support it underneath when you lift it up or it will bend and you will lose all your mac & cheese on the ground. Stir it often so it won’t burn and stick to the bottom of the pan. Some pans will warp when they are put on the grill so a disposable one you can just throw away after. Have fun !!!!! Oh, by the way, Stouffers makes a pretty good frozen mac & cheese entree and it also comes in family size too.

Yes you can. I would place it on the grill with low to medium heat and stir it occasionally. It shouldn’t take long to heat.

Either would work. It can burn easy so heat on low to med heat and keep an eye on it.
